The HV Landscaping Committee is pursuing a grant with the City of Tempe, and there is a requirement that HV residents be informed and have the opportunity to provide input. This grant is part of a Multi-year plan to transition the landscaping in Harbour Village to a property that is lovely, but more affordable and water-conscious. The Board will want to keep the residents informed on this plan as well.
OLD LANDSCAPING CONTRACT
In order to reduce costs, the landscaping contract has been renegotiated to two days a week.
- Property service days will be Mondays and Thursdays
- On Mondays the crew will work on edging, mowing, weed eating and blowing all turf areas
- On Thursdays the crew will work based on a 4-week rotation map – weeding, blowing and raking granite areas, trimming trees and bushes.
